This is not a review or an endorsement, but a definite heads-up on what promises to be an exceptional movie featuring a transgender character.
Last weekend I saw a trailer for Gun Hill Road.
The trans character is actually played by a transwoman, the newcomer Harmony Santana, and its clear to me from the trailer that she brings a level of reality unreachable by even the best "this'll get me a nomination for sure" female actress.
